"Two 18-year-old girls were charged Tuesday with using a credit card that a customer left behind at the Charlestowne Mall store where they worked," the Kane County Chronicle reported last week. "Cynthia R. Davalos of [357 E. Pomeroy,] West Chicago and Julia R. Gonzalez of Glendale Heights each was charged with multiple counts of forgery and unlawful use of a credit card." The Chronicle notes that the girls spent $350 at the store where they worked, "Deb," and $19.30 at a restaurant in the mall. The Daily Herald notes that it was Chinese food.

Tom J. Wingstedt, 19, 336 E. Pomeroy St., West Chicago, was arrested and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after an incident at 8:47 p.m. Saturday on the 100 block of Kane Street, in which he danced in the street near cars, according to police reports.
Bradley J. Billeter, 24, of 3N434 Mulberry Court, West Chicago, was arrested at 6:36 a.m. Monday and charged with driving with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession on the 1500 block of East Main Street [in St. Charles], police said. Billeter was released on $1,000 bond and ordered to appear in court April 5.
Michael A. Bodnar, 44, of 3N311 Lakewood Drive, West Chicago, was arrested at 3:52 p.m. March 15 at 1041 W. Stearns Road (Dominick’s) [in Bartlett] and later charged with retail theft, a police report said. He has court on April 3 in Wheaton.
Kandyce M. Williams, 19, of 1208 King Circle, West Chicago, was arrested at 3:05 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of East Main Street [in St. Charles] and charged with underage drinking, driving with a suspended license, driving with suspended license plates and driving without a front head lamp, police said. Also cited for underage drinking was Williams’ passenger, Francesca R. Yon, 1700 Walnut St., St. Charles, police said.
A West Chicago teen was arrested on drug charges at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Bunker Hill and Golden Eagle drives [in Bartlett], police said. Ernesto J. Perez Jr., 18, of 2860 Mansfield Court, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license suspended, police said. Perez was taken to the McHenry County jail. He posted bond and was released Monday morning.
Five people at an abandoned pool on private property were trespassing at 7 p.m. Sunday off Route 31 [in West Dundee], police said. Eight grams of marijuana and rolling papers were found, police said. Joshua Corbin, 23, of 1148 Lillian Lane, West Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A 14-year-old girl was released to a parent and the three others were released without charges. Corbin posted a $100 bond and was released with a Sept. 14 court date at Elgin Branch Court.
When police arrived at the intersection of Randall and Silver Glen roads [in South Elgin] at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday to take an accident report, the driver of the car that apparently had caused the accident had left her car along the highway and gone into a nearby store.
Debra Vanderbusch, 49, of 3N509 Oak St., West Chicago, was cited for leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to yield, expired registration, operating a vehicle with expired registration and not having a driver’s license or insurance, according to a report. Court records showed Vanderbusch had two outstanding warrants for charges of no insurance and for failing an emissions test. She was taken to the Kane County jail Wednesday with a $200 bond and a Feb. 27 date at Elgin Branch Court.
