JANUARY 2008 PRESS RELEASE
Kathy Reuter, University of Illinois Extension educator, will present Consumer Fraud: Schemes, Scams and Flim Flam during Books for Lunch on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. She will offer tips to help consumers to protect themselves against fraud and identity theft.
Are you attending or planning a Super Bowl gathering! Please join Chef Jonathan Bean for a Super Bowl Snacks program on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. He is back to teach you to make the greatest snacks ever – two kinds of chili, genuine Buffalo wings, fresh salsas, and more. Learn how to make your own deli trays too. There will be a fee of $3 per person payable at registration.
Kathy Reuter, University of Illinois Extension educator, will return to present a Record Keeping program on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Her valuable guidelines about record keeping include: which information should be kept and which items to discard. Ms. Reuter will also share storage tips so your records are easily accessible. You will also learn where you can go to replace records that have been lost or misplaced.
