Neal D. Ronzheimer, age 63, of West Chicago, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Tower Hill Healthcare Center in South Elgin. He was born on March 16, 1945 to Gordon and Marjorie Ronzheimer. Neal proudly served in the US Air Force during Vietnam.
On March 16, 1995 he was united in marriage to Patricia Gardner. He retired after 30 years of service as an inspector at Western Electric/AT&T telephone company. Neal also enjoyed his part time job at the Happy House in West Chicago. He was a sports enthusiast who was a great golfer and a diehard Chicago Cubs fan. Neal was a wonderful husband, brother and family man. He was a great person who was well loved and will be greatly missed by everyone.
Neal is survived by his wife Patricia of 13 years, step daughter Kelly Buckler of Naples, FL, two granddaughters Hannah and Jessica, Six brothers and two sisters, Bruce (Renate) Ronzheimer of Las Vegas, NV, Loren (Linda) Ronzheimer of MN, Joel (Karen) Ronzheimer of Coal Creek Canyon, CO, Leland (Doris) Ronzheimer of Orlando, FL, Jan (Sandra) Ronzheimer of Winfield, IL, Debbie (Joe) Johnson of Bourbonnais, IL, Jill (late Charlie) Leavitt of Las Vegas, NV, Brian (Marie) Ronzheimer of Orefield, PA and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 2 pm until time of service at 7pm at Norris-Walen Funeral Home (Ronald T. Segert-Director) 132 Fremont St. West Chicago. Pastor Chuck Miller officiating. Interment Private.
