Brooke Takes Over the Warrior Boys’ Soccer Program

     Brooke is currently the assistant coach for both the boys’ and girls’ soccer teams at Wheaton Academy. “Even as we embarked on our extensive nationwide search for a boys’ soccer coach, we knew we had a strong candidate already in our midst,” said Athletic Director, Paul Ferguson. “Jeff is a true teacher of the game. His knowledge of the program as a successful player and assistant coach was a strong point,” continued Ferguson, “He already has a great rapport with our players and parents.”

     Brooke graduated from Wheaton Academy in 2002 and was a standout basketball and soccer player for the Warriors. He earned a B.A. in Communications from Taylor University in 2006 and was the captain of the Taylor mens’ soccer team. He earned All-Conference and All-Region honors his junior year at Taylor. In his senior campaign, he again was named All-Conference and also Honorable Mention All-American.

     Brooke returned to the western suburbs after college and began working as Camps Director for Victory Sports Camps, an outreach focused sports ministry company in DuPage County. He oversaw 23 summer camps which served around 1200 kids. In the fall of 2007, Brooke began his career at Wheaton Academy as a Bible teacher and assistant soccer coach. “

     Jeff’s character and reputation as a Godly man will make him a great mentor to our players,” said Ferguson. “He’s very excited about this opportunity and he has a lot of passion and exuberance for the job.”

     "It is such a privilege to step into this role at Wheaton Academy,” said Brooke.  “I am excited to take leadership in a program that has been committed to excellence throughout the years. The group of players here are fantastic individuals and I am blessed by the opportunity to work with them."

     Brooke’s wife, Rachel, is the girls’ varsity softball coach at Wheaton Academy. They reside in Wheaton.
