This Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week as Christians world-wide prepare for the celebration of Easter. On Monday March 17th the 3rd and 4th grade students of St. Mary’s School in West Chicago will perform the Stations of the Cross which recall the events leading up to and including the crucifixion of Christ. The 3rd graders will assume the roles of the important figures of the time as they experience these historical events. The fourth graders will tell the story depicted through the Stations. This is a very powerful experience for students and observers alike. The Stations of the Cross will be performed at St. Mary’s Church, 140 N. Oakwood St. in West Chicago at 9am Monday March 17th.
