• Once again, the Greater St. Charles Education Foundation has shown its commitment to District 303, funding 20 grants worth a total of $48,000, requested by nine of our 17 schools. • The Board of Education this week received an update about changes being made to the district discipline policy, including new language regarding student pranks. I inadvertently left this item out of the Board of Education Meeting Synopsis that was posted on Tuesday. More details will follow when the Board approves the new policy later this summer.

On May 25, 2005, at 4:05 p.m., a 12-year-old girl was walking home in the area of Ronzheimer and Midway avenues was approached by a white male in a blue or purple pickup truck. The driver allegedly said to the girl, “Come over here, I have something to show you.” The girl ran away from the vehicle.

Suspect’s description:

• White male
• 30s or 40s
• Short, brown/gray
• Brown/hazel eyes
• Wire-rimmed glasses
• Medium complexion
• Thin build

Vehicle’s description:

• Dirty, newer pickup truck with no obvious body damage
