Gallery 200 opens and hosts watercolor class
WEST CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, DECEMBER 31, 2005 - “Adventures in Watercolor” classes will be offered on Saturday afternoons (January 7 and 21, and February 4 and 18, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.) at the newly opened Gallery 200, located in the historic Ripley Hotel building at 200 Main Street in West Chicago. The cost of each class is $10.00 with payment on a per-class basis. It is not necessary to commit to all 4 classes in advance. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Class size is limited to six students, so interested participants are encouraged to sign up soon.
The classes will be taught by Mrs. Lois Easley. Mrs. Easley has been painting in various media for over 10 years and has studied watercolor with Wayne Atkinson, Dick Shipley, Ralph Fumanski and Jennifer Hereth. Contact Mrs. Easley at 630-293-8051 to registrar for the classes.
Gallery 200 is a co-op run gallery featuring artwork from local artists and offers a variety of arts and crafts available for purchase along with stimulating classes taught by local artists. Gallery 200 is located at 200 Main Street in West Chicago. Gallery hours are from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday; Fridays, from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m.
