- Speaking of the attendance area reassignment project, we’ve posted the
“Public Notice” regarding the three Public Information Sessions scheduled
for November 1, 2 and 4, 2006. This information is on the front page of our
website, and right here:

- You’ll be getting a hard copy of the new issue of the District 303 FOCUS
newsletter in your mailbox soon, but here it is electronically, for your
early reading pleasure. As promised in the August issue, we’ve added a few
new elements including a feature called “District 303 – Continuously
Improving” highlighting our efforts to better the systems by which we
support and teach our students. Click here:

- Kudos to the St. Charles East High School Peer Leadership Organization
for collecting over 2,800 non-perishable food items over the last three
weeks to benefit the Northern Illinois Food Bank. What a great effort.
- St. Charles North High School will present the Shakespeare classic, “A
Midsummer Night’s Dream” at 7 p.m. next Thursday, Friday and Saturday,
November 2, 3 and 4, 2006. This story, filled with mystical fairies and
magical love stories, is one of Shakespeare’s finest pieces of literature.
