Seasonal Leaf Collection Continues
West Chicago, Illinois: October 30, 2006 - Seasonal leaf collection continues in the City of West Chicago through November 25, 2006 on regularly scheduled garbage pick-up days. Leaves may be disposed of in unlimited quantity in any biodegradable 'Kraft' paper bag. No stickers are required for leaves during this period. No other yard waste should be included with leaves.
Leaves placed in plastic bags or other containers will not be accepted. The City regrets any inconvenience to residents who received a utility bill stating incorrect information regarding disposal of leaves. There will be one week designated in April 2007 for additional leaf collection. For any further information, visit www.westchicago.org or call City Hall at 293-2200.
