ST. MICHAEL'S HOSTS
SPECIAL CELEBRANT TO SPEAK ABOUT ANGOLA

All are welcome to enjoy a special celebratory service at St. Michael's United Church of Christ on Sunday, February 11th at 9:30am. In celebration of the UCC's 50th anniversary Rev. Dr. Jane Fisler Hoffman will be speaking about her work with the Illinois Conference and the Angola Partnership. The goals of the partnership are to establish relationships, share material abundance and learn from the Angolans. One church member from the Conference was so inspired that he is in the process of moving to Angola to serve for an extended period
of time.

Rev. Fisler Hoffman, Illinois Conference Minister, is responsible for five associations and 287 congregations, helping to connect the churches, pastors and church members together. She is a graduate of Eden Theological Seminary and served as a pastor in two local churches and as an Association Minister in the Ohio Conference before coming to the Illinois Conference. She and her husband Milt have two adult children and five grandchildren.
