Millner Visits with DuPage Children’s Museum
Interactive exhibit part of “Museum Day” at the Illinois Capitol

SPRINGFIELD, IL— State Senator John J. Millner (R- Carol Stream) receives a firsthand look at the work being done by the DuPage Children’s Museum during the annual Museum Day at the Illinois Capitol Wednesday, March 28.

Pictured (from left to right) are: Senator Millner, a child volunteer (foreground), Jane Rossom- Public Relations Coordinator for the Museum, and T.J. Hicks- Assistant Manager for Marketing and Membership for the Museum.

The DuPage Children’s Museum, located in Naperville, serves all the children of DuPage County, and over 40 area school districts, with interactive exhibits and activities, like that seen above, in an effort to give kids a hands-on approach to learning and creating.

Museum Day is an annual event in Springfield, which attracts Museums from all over Illinois to lobby legislators for funding, and showcase their individual programs.
